Alizée Paties (FRA) and Arthur Serrières (FRA) captured the XTERRA Germany Short Track off-road triathlon titles at Olbersdorfer See in Zittau on Friday, August 18, 2023. The action-packed events were the eighth of 12 points-scoring races and the fourth of five XTERRA Short Track showdowns in the XTERRA World Cup. The course combined a two-lap 400-meter swim, with a four-loop 6-kilometer mountain bike, and a two-lap 2.6K trail run. Paties won it in 35 minutes, 50 seconds, Serrières in 31:21, and both were awarded prize money and 20 points for their efforts. For Paties, the current XTERRA World Cup points leader, it’s her first Short Track win of the season and the second in her career (she won this same race last year), and for Serrières, it’s his fifth career Short Track win and he’s now won three of the four ST events this season.
